Getting food while your loved one is fighting and recovering in or out of the hospital, can be tricky. Food at home may be spoiled when first returning and getting to the grocery store may prove challenging particularly with an immune compromised child. When inpatient, many hospitals do not provide reasonably priced food options, varieties or times to eat for patient advocates (a.k.a. Champions).

Having a son, daughter or loved one in the hospital carries with it enough stresses. Worrying about how you are going to pay for the required care should not be one of them. Get your friends together and raise funds to help with costs.
