Are you a brick and mortar company?

-        No, we are strictly an online resource driven organization.

Has your organization directly dealt with a Bone Marrow Transplant?

-        Yes, our son, Robbie had his Bone Marrow Transplant June 14th, 2005.  We celebrate this day every year!

Where did the name Mighty Lionhearts come from?

-        Our son, Robbie, had an 8 year battle to overcome Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome (WAS) through a Bone Marrow Transplant.  During this, he lost the ability to walk 3 times, lost his eyesight for a year, cracked 2 vertebrae in his back (due to medication), acquired a lethal fungal infection in his heart, lungs, and brain that the best Doctors told us meant certain death and asked us to sign a Do Not Resuscitate Order (DNR) among other things…We did not.  Through all of this Robbie kept smiling, laughing and never quitting…we started calling him the Mighty and Lionheart.  We eventually put the two together and started calling him our Mighty Lionheart:)  We decided if he wasn’t quitting then we wouldn’t quit either and here we are, Robbie beat the odds and is doing Great!

Are you a for profit company?

-        Yes, we started this company for Robbie, to spread his inspiration and help others going through similar challenges.  We want to build him an organization/business he can walk into when he gets older.  We researched non-profit organizations but found you cannot transfer those like you can a corporation.  Additionally, we have found that in order to offer great resources we will need to invest in them and so, we are a for profit company dedicated to helping others like Robbie.  10% of ALL profits go toward charitable organizations helping kids through Bone Marrow Transplants.

Do you donate to causes with the money you make?

-        Yes!!! 10% of ALL profits go toward charitable organizations helping kids through Bone Marrow Transplants.
